Leftover Christmas

I was trying to use up the Christmas fabric scraps.  L.

Variable Star

Each star is pieced the same but the color and value variations make every one look different.  This one is for sale.  L.

Hexagon Quilt

Giant hexagons for the newest granddaughter.  I have lots of time to quilt it, she is only a month old.  It is made out of vintage sheets. L.

Star Quilt

Two views of a quilt made for my son when he got married.  It's some kind of star. (I looked in my 5500 quilt blocks book and I couldn't find a name for it.) I think I saw this one in the Hancock's catalog.  It's all batiks. It's been a long time since I made a quilt with only five different fabrics. L.

Thousand Pyramids

Made for my niece. She likes purple.  L.

Dresden Plate

Made for my son and daughter in law out of 30's reproduction fabrics .  I learned my lesson with this quilt and if I ever make another Dresden plate, I will cut the back away from under the plates.  It was terrible to quilt.  I need a new picture of this one showing the borders which are made with half circles and sewed into the outside seam like prairie points.  L.

Double Wedding Ring

Another queen sized double wedding ring made for a friend met in Korea.  L.
