Ocean Waves

I made this quilt for some friends in the Netherlands.  (We were stationed in Germany near the Dutch border with the Air Force).  I cut the whole thing out and sewed the triangles together into bigger triangles and went to sew them onto the white squares and realized I had cut 2000 triangles a quarter inch too small.  I cut down the squares and made the quilt but then it was not king sized any more so I added the borders.  I think it made a more interesting quilt.  L.

Teddy Bears Quilt

I made this quilt for my son Colin when he was a child.  It took about 2 1/2 months to quilt because I couldn't stop quilting around all of the little bear faces in the blocks. L.

Quilted Windmill Wall Hanging

This little wall hanging was made for our friends serving an LDS mission in the Netherlands.  The ladies at church made the small windmill blocks and I put it all together along with the message cross-stitched at the bottom.  The wooden shoes and tulips are appliqued.  L.

Bobbie's Quilt

My sister in law's mother (Bobbie) made this quilt when she was 16.  The borders were too full and ruffly and she never finished it.  Bobbie went on to make many beautiful quilt during her life. So, when Bobbie was about 90, my sister in law gave this quilt to me to finish.  I was able to fix the borders and quilt it and we gave it back to her.  L.

Patriotic Quilt

I made this quilt to decorate the tables at county conventions when Kevin (my husband) ran for Congress in 2001.  I made up the pattern to look a little like a flag.  Afterwards, I gave it to my friend who was his campaign manager. L.

Medallion Quilt

This Medallion quilt was another quilt for the Lady Lions.  I got the pattern from a tiny picture in the Hancock's catalog. L.

Quilted Christmas Projects

These are some Christmas projects I made one year for presents.  The star at the top is the feathered star.  The checker board rows on the Christmas tree wall hanging are folded so they form pockets so it can be used as an Advent calendar.  L.
