I made this quilt for some friends in the Netherlands. (We
were stationed in Germany near the Dutch border with the Air Force). I
cut the whole thing out and sewed the triangles together into bigger
triangles and went to sew them onto the white squares and realized I had
cut 2000 triangles a quarter inch too small. I cut down the squares
and made the quilt but then it was not king sized any more so I added
the borders. I think it made a more interesting quilt. L.
