The circles on this quilt were blocks given me by a cousin. She didn't know whether her mother, my aunt, had made them, or my aunt's mother in law. But no one in their family was interested in finishing a quilt with them, so I inherited them. In some cases there weren't enough pieces to complete the circles, so I improvised. The circles are appliqued to white backing and sashed using reproduction patterns, and hand quilted. J.
